An iconic 60’s tower block transformed into luxury residential apartments
Centre Point, the iconic London landmark, is considered to be one of the great works of modern architecture. Designed by architect Richard Seifert, the brutalist style captured the adventurous spirit of 1960s London.
A recent multi-million-pound transformation, by architects Conran and Partners, included the creation of 82 exclusive apartments fitted with 1,500 SG 4960s, all integrated seamlessly to a Crestron building management system.
Each window is fitted with two electric roller blinds, mounted in a discreet pocket in front of one another, hidden in the blind housing when not in use. One uses Mercuro dimout fabric to provide adequate room darkening and full privacy when required, the second uses Multiscreen to reduce heat and glare whilst maintaining the enviable views of the London skyline.
